For us, hockey is not just a sport. It is much more: a bond that connects the people of Gyergyó, no matter where they live in the world.

Based on a 70-year history, Gyergyó Hockey Club was established in 2018, and after several years of building, in 2023, every person from Gyergyó could be proud. Our team became the champion of the Erste Liga.

Our goal is to remain among the top teams in the Erste Liga and the Romanian field, to win more trophies. And we are working towards joining the ICEHL in a few years and rising to be among the best there as well.
