Our team has been completed and the last puzzle piece has been replaced. Dallas Gerads is the player we were looking for at centre.

The 28-year-old left-handed American striker played for Lillehammer in Norway last season. It was his first year as a legionnaire, having previously played hockey in his home country. He appeared in 122 games in his two ECHL seasons and also made two AHL appearances.
“I have heard a lot of good things about the Erste League. There are a lot of great players and teams here. I have spoken to several people about Gheorgheni Hockey Club and I have heard only positive things. I chose this team because everyone says it is the best team in the league.
When I spoke to the sport director and the coach, I felt that this was the best place for me. I like the way the club treats the players, and the expectation to win is completely in line with my goals. I also know there is a strong fan base behind the team and I look forward to working with them to achieve our goals,” said Dallas.

Our new player will also meet familiar faces on the ice. “I used to play with Evan Wardley in the ECHL and we became good friends very quickly, so it will be great to be back on the same team with him. Also, several of my former teammates are playing in the Erste League this year.”
Finally, he talked about the qualities he can contribute to the team’s success: “I’m an open personality, I like to laugh, but as soon as I put on my helmet I take hockey and my career seriously. I work hard every day and try to lead by example. My game combines technical skill and physical strength, so I can be a benefit to the team on both offense and defense,” said Dallas Gerads.
