Dallas Gerads has signed a new contract with Gyergyói Hoki Klub. The American center arrived in Gheorgheni last summer and in a short time it turned out to be a really good decision. He brought energy and drive to our game, and not to mention his determination and ruthlessness in front of goal. One of the key factors in the performance of a hockey forward is how many points he produces.

Well, Dallas Gerads contributed 28 points in 28 Erste Liga regular season games and 13 goals in 16 playoff games. On the Romanian front, he has 13 points in 13 games. Not bad, not bad – you could say – but there is more to him than that.
Zoltán Szilassy, Director of Sport, says:
Dallas is the MVP of the Erste Liga Finals, but this award is not the only indication of how good he is. His style of play is totally two-way, he plays very good defense, aggressive in face-offs, plays with a lot of responsibility with the puck, minimizes turnovers. He’s a center who is outstanding not only with the points, but also in the field and defensively. He is also outstanding in the way he balances playing with and without the puck. He is also very high quality in the way he chooses responsible solutions in the game. At the same time, he is a great personality who has given the team and the fans a lot of good minutes this season.
Dallas will remain a player of Gyergyói Hoki Klub for at least another year!
Go Dallas!
