With over 100 Erste Liga games under his belt and experience in the national youth teams, Csan\u00e1d Ravasz arrives in Gyergy\u00f3szentmikl\u00f3s well-prepared. The young, yet seasoned player is highly motivated for this new chapter: he wants to grow, win trophies \u2013 and proudly represent the red and white. In the following interview, he speaks about his past, his goals, and his message to the Gyergy\u00f3 fans.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

You\u2019re no stranger to GYHK \u2013 you\u2019ve played against us several times. What were those games like from your perspective?<\/strong>
It was always very tough to play against GYHK, especially in Gyergy\u00f3szentmikl\u00f3s. They were the kind of opponent I always enjoyed facing because I knew both sides would give everything to help their team improve from game to game.<\/p>\n\n

How would you describe your playing style? What do you consider your greatest strength on the ice?<\/strong>
I see myself as a well-rounded player, both defensively and offensively. One of my biggest strengths is adaptability \u2014 wherever I\u2019m needed on the ice, I can find my place. I wouldn\u2019t single out one quality; I\u2019d rather say that I can be useful in many areas, and I strive to develop those as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n

With BJA, you gained important experience, playing more than 100 Erste Liga matches. Which game stands out the most?<\/strong>
BJA was probably one of the most important stops in my career so far, and I owe them a lot. Two games come to mind: winning the Hungarian championship, and the match where I scored my first Erste Liga goal. Those are both unforgettable for me.<\/p>\n\n

You also played a key role in the Hungarian youth national teams, even serving as U20 captain. What did that responsibility mean to you?<\/strong>
It wasn\u2019t new to me \u2014 I had already been captain during the U18 World Championship in Angers. Wearing the national jersey always meant the same thing to me: to give everything for my country and represent it in a way that makes people proud. Being captain was a bonus that came with responsibility, but I never saw it as a burden \u2014 it gave me extra motivation.<\/p>\n\n

What are your goals for the upcoming season \u2014 both individually and with the team?<\/strong>
Individually, I\u2019d like to improve physically and take steps forward in every aspect of the game. As for the team, I want to help bring home as many trophies as possible to the new arena.<\/p>\n\n

Do you have a role model you want to follow?<\/strong>
I don\u2019t have one specific hockey role model, though many NHL players inspire me with their game. But if I had to highlight someone, I\u2019d say my parents \u2014 they\u2019re everyday people, and my true role models.<\/p>\n\n

How do you think the GYHK coaching staff and environment can help your development?<\/strong>
I believe everything will be in place for my growth \u2014 the new arena, the coaches, the teammates I can learn a lot from. Now it\u2019s all up to me to make the most of these opportunities.<\/p>\n\n

What would you like to say to the Gyergy\u00f3 fans who are excited to see you on the ice?<\/strong>
I\u2019d say: always stand by the team, and let\u2019s fill the new ice arena with the sound of Gyergy\u00f3 songs!<\/p>\n\n
